A.C.E. presents the Starwood XIX Festival

The WoodBusters are the crazy group of individuals that get wood and build bonfires at Starwood. Their Red Suspenders indicate that they are also all High Priest/esses in the Cult of the Living Bull and they dedicate themselves to wrangle the wood and fire into something spectacular and scream BULL! to keep woodchips out of their ears.

This years crew was headed by Jason and JR with intense help from Tommy, Logan, Animal, Ed, Rob, Joe, Guy, Eric, Madelyn, Jessy, Franky, Joe, Scott, Clint, DJ, Mark, Tom, Rebecca, Jonathan, Tim, Dennis, and many volunteers that helped with extra backs, bringing us liquids and food, and clean-up. Special thanks to Pam, Anomie and folks from Babylon Heights for keeping us hydrated and fed, and Scott for his coffee supply.

For now, take a look at these great shots of the woodbusters working on building the bonfire and the beautiful storm front that came over us on Saturday to solve the problem of wetting down the area. A wonderful job to the kids for their paper-maché dragon and the teens for their phoenix that sat atop the fire.
