Performers

Until a final schedule is coordinated, here is the schedule of music and performances.

More details on specific Performer Bios may be found under Music

Starwood on Stage

In addition to Drums of Passion and The Rainforest Band, our main music stage also welcomes the awesome talents of percussionist Muruga Booker, who’s played with everyone from Paul Winter and Weather Report to Olatunji, Merl Saunders, and George Clinton.

The schedule goes:
Tues Eve: Reggae/Salsa band Buddhahood;

Wed Eve: World Music from the Transglobal Millenium Ensemble, Animated Films, and the Dance Party featuring Electronic Space-Rock band Einstein’s Secret Orchestra;

Thurs Lunch: Fine Renaissance music from Owain Phyfe;

Thurs Eve: Bardic Concert night, when the microphones are open for the braver (and more foolish?) of us to take the stage and offer our own performances;

Fri Lunch: original Folk-Rock ensemble Rogue’s Cross;

Fri Eve: Acoustic/Eclectic folk from Revelry, the Rockin’ Folk (Rolk) band Maggi, Pierce & E.J., and Merl Saunders & the Rainforest Band, followed by the incredible spectacle of light created by Centrak Lasers, enhanced with fireworks and music by Ron Slabe & Pyrosonic, exploding over Brushfire Island;

Sat Lunch: Neo-Pagan Folk-Rock by Music For the Goddess;

Sat Eve: Muruga Booker opens, and Baba Olatunji & Drums of Passion will drum us into the Bonfire Lighting Ceremony!

Starwood at Midnight
