Welcome |
Welcome to a cosmic vacation spot beyond the limits of your
imagination. Take a taste of the spiritual smorgasbord that only Starwood
has to offer. We guarantee you'll find something you'll love. The Chameleon
Club is proud to share these tantalizing tidbits with you - but only
you can help us make Starwood a banquet for the heart and soul. |
On-site Information |
For first-timers, we suggest either the Wednesday or Thursday Orientation workshop. Other info sources: the Information Booth and Bulletin Board, and roving Heralds. Changes are inevitable; check these sources to stay current. |
Safety |
Please be smart about your belongings, know your neighbors, wear your ID, and report any suspicious activity to Security. Your co-attendees depend on you! |
Parents and Kids |
Most parents are great, but past problems force us to include this section. We offer safe play areas and kids programming, but the festival at large isn't your baby-sitter. Kids are monitored only at kids' activities and Kids' Swim; you must watch your kids at all other times. Parents who don't behave responsibly face expulsion. Know your kids' whereabouts, retrieve them from Child Care at scheduled times, and please assist in the kid-specific areas. The pool is the only supervised swimming area! |
Attention Merchants |
All merchants must be paid Starwood attendees. Include $55 vending fee, Merchanting name, & short description of wares/services with registration for inclusion in Program booklet. Placement is 1st come/1st served. Most vendors set up along main field center roads; this is not required. Please take only the space you need; if this will exceed 20' X 20', please contact us beforehand. Parking in lot is free; on site vehicles are permitted ONLY if you camp in or MUST store merchandise inside. In such case, obtain on site parking pass at gate, and vehicle may not be moved until the event ends. Your vendor's ID (obtain at gate) MUST be displayed at your booth. Indoor space is not available. No additional food vendors are being accepted. Limited electricity is available from Brushwood for a per day fee; contact them directly. |
First Aid |
Supplies are always available at the First-Aid Center, a
small building near the Pool House. When staffed, it's by good samaritan
volunteers, and is not a substitute for qualified medical treatment. Licensed
physicians are at the nearby local hospital. In case of a medical emergency,
contact FirstAid or an A.C.E. or Brushwood Staff member immediately! Do
not move anyone who is unconscious or has fallen! Wait for staff. |
The Sky-Clad Experience |
You'll be surprised how quickly you get used to it! Relax, enjoy the freedom, and wear good sunblock, especially on parts that rarely see the light of day! Don't work, build fires or go hiking skyclad. You'll thank yourself later. And remember, if ya' don't wanna, ya' don't gotta! Skyclad means "clothed in space" or "nude". Yes, there may be naked people there. If you don't like that, then don't look! Nudity is not an invitation for sexual behavior. Innappropriate public behavior or treatment of others may be grounds for removal with no refund. |
Brushwood Traffic |
Your VEHICLE ID TAG must be visible in your car which you'll park across the street in the Parking Area immediately after you unload. Merchant vehicles that MUST stay on-site must be approved by Starwood Staff, and should be left there until Sunday afternoon or departure. NO non-staff vehicle traffic is allowed in the camping area from 1-8 AM. |
Fire & the
Land |
Don't leave candles, grills, etc. unattended. Firepits are
OK, but must be filled in before leaving. |
