Elemental Workings for Personal Balance

The Five Elements represent a familiar model for describing ourselves and
our experiences in the world. As individuals, we may identify more strongly
with one or more of these elements than with the others. What if I find
myself too flighty, too pushy or too wishy-washy in dealing with others? Are
there simple tools and techniques that are available to bring the parts of
myself into balance? We will explore synergies between intention,
affirmation, invocation, assumption of godforms, adoption of magickal names
and personas, and creation and use of sigils for associating with an element
and its attributes. The facilitator is a contributor to the "Magic on the
Edge" Anthology, edited by Taylor Ellwood (Immanion Press, 2007). His work
in that anthology provides much of the basis for this workshop.
