A.J. Gooch

A.J. Gooch has been brewing beer and Mead for over 18 years. He has been teaching the brewing of beer and mead and the art of making cordials and elixirs for over a decade. He is a member of Ar nDraiocht Fein and Senior Druid of Stone Creed Grove, and a member of the Society for Creative Anachronism, and teaches brewing in these groups. He is also a talented drummer and didgeridoo player, and an organizer of the Drum JamCircle that meets weekly in Cleveland.

Healing With Your Brews

This will be a class on how to brew beer and mead, and what to add to make it a healing drink. We will cover the basics quickly, and then discuss herbal and magical approaches to making healing brews. A.J. will lead a discussion of brewing styles for beer and mead, with listings and hand-outs supplying material on certain herbs that can aid in body healing or mental healing. Brewers are especially welcome!
