Elizabeth Muise

Elizabeth Muise is a graduate of Alfred University with a Bachelor in Fine Arts and a minor in dance. She is now pursuing a life in the arts. With eighteen years of dance experience, she has explored many styles such as Modern, Ballet, Hip Hop, Kathak, Butoh, and African. Middle Eastern Dance, her true passion, has been an area of focus in most recent years, studying with fellow professional bellydancers such as Rachel Brice, Zoe Jakes, Mardi Love, Zafira Dance Company, Pele, and Trisha McBride. She teaches Tribal Fusion Bellydance at Brid’s Closet in Cornwall, Studio 208 in Cornwall on Hudson, and Mount Saint Mary College in Newburgh, as well as workshops all over the region. She has performed for festivals and celebrations such as Samhain, Yule, and Beltane, sharing the stage with Raquy and the Cavemen, and dances in restaurants, group shows, and Haffla’s.

Tribal Fusion Bellydance Workshop I: Basic Technique and the Challenge of Moving Slow!

In this workshop I would like to cover the basic movements of Middle Eastern Dance, while focusing on proper technique. We will drill isolations with an emphasis on keeping everything slow and controlled. Open to all levels of skill and experience!

Tribal Fusion Bellydance Workshop II: Layering and Shimmies!
