Arakeane

Arakeane exploits the diversity of his professional and spiritual background to bring a unique mix of talent to the Pagan community. He has been active in the public Pagan forum since the late 80s. Most noted for his open work entwining diverse Pagan practices with Wicca, Arakeane has been an embarrassment to fundamentalists from many Pagan traditions for well over a decade. A Distinguished Toastmaster and an off-Broadway New York actor with training in Neuro-Linguistic Programming, holistic healing, and a diverse set of other spiritual disciplines, Arakeane's spontaneous and entertaining presentation style typically delights his audience. His immersion in energy work for the past ten years has brought to light a number of obscure practices soon to be documented in his book Reaching Out With Initiation.

Energy Exploration I: Empty Hand

Energy Exploration is an open workshop where we will delve into the practical aspects of energy work at a personal level. Empty hand begins this exploration with the practice of feeling what can not be physically explained. Having experienced the kinesthetic nature of energy, which the vast majority of previous attendees have done, the explorer is left with the quandary of believing their senses and accepting the existence of energy practices, or of denying their senses and wondering how they have been tricked. Some simple practices of Mysticism become experienced reality. This workshop is relatively devoid of religious overtones, leaving the explorer the opportunity to incorporate these experiences into their own religious frameworks.

Energy Exploration II: We are One

Energy Exploration is an open workshop where we will delve into the practical aspects of energy work at a personal level. The "We are One" workshop consists of a number of exercises leveraging the principle that energy conveys information. Through these exercises, one obtains personal experience that one can send and receive information to another person. This practice; sometimes thought of as mind-reading; gives the explorer new insight into the nature of spirituality, which many people have interpreted as a universal bond with all living things.

Energy Exploration III: Medical Intuition

Energy Exploration is an open workshop where we will delve into the practical aspects of energy work at a personal level. The "Medical Intuition" workshop is a simplistic introduction to the use of energy work for diagnosing physical, mental, and spiritual ailments. Modern medicine has erected fortresses of knowledge around medical practices, but despite the advances in medical science, sound evidence exists that trusting one's intuition is still a critical factor in maintaining ones own health and in helping others. This workshop looks at how energy work may be used to improve raw intuition in the process of diagnosing one's health and the health of others.

Energy Exploration IV: New Horizons

Energy Exploration is an open workshop where we will delve into the practical aspects of energy work at a personal level. The "New Horizons" workshop presents a quick survey of some of the directions that people are taking in practical energy Mysticism. The class will select one of these directions or another one of their choice. We will share what we jointly know about his direction and discuss what we might do to further explore it. Time permitting, we will jointly explore that direction and conclude with a discussion of how we can each independently conduct energy explorations of our own.
