Ancient Harmonic Instruments and Throat Singing/ Kirtan Chants from India Pt. 1: Harmonic Overtone Vocal Techniques and Instruments

A group toning will start off the first half of the workshop; Ian Hesford of Telesma will then demonstrate some of the world's earliest harmonic instruments including Didgeridoo, Kubing, and Mouth Bow. This will be followed by a discussion of the principles of harmonic overtones, and a lesson on how to train yourself to hear them in everyday sounds, and begin to produce them yourself using the ancient art of "Throat Singing" for meditation, healing and balance.
