Each year, as we compile the information for the mailer and this book, we receive workshop submissions right up to festival time. This causes an unbearable amount of stress as we attempt to assemble the program and schedule. Therefore, (even if you've presented in the past), if you would like to present in '99, you must:
- Send complete workshop submissions to A.C.E by April 1, 1999 IN WRITING (An HTML form will be available Autumnal Equinox 1998).
- Call us to confirm we have received it.
- Include a SHORT (2-3 sentence) bio of yourself. Include degrees, published works, and/or relevant background if available. Previous presenters, please send new information.
- Include a SHORT (2-8 sentence) description of your workshop(s), which relate to your qualifications to teach that subject. Please include requirements of location, shade/sun, etc., and what days you can't be present.
Workshop slots are 1:30 hours, so shoot for a single slot, or, if you must, a double (3:15 hours)
All submissions will be up for vote and, upon acceptance, you will be notified. Submissions do not guarantee acceptance. If we did that, Starwood would be a month long festival!
All requests received after the above dates will NOT be considered.
