Much of Winterstars' charm is due to the luxurious facilities of Atwood Resort.

You can live in luxury at the Lodge or in community in a Cottage room and cook your own meals, or economize with a daybed for “crash space”. Atwood’s facilities are open to all WinterStar.

First, the newly renovated Lodge, where we’ve reserved the entire lower floor, featuring a beautiful ballroom with a large fireplace, a glass wall overlooking the Winter serenity of Atwood Lake, diverse lighting options and retractable screens, and movable walls allowing us to partition it into up to three sections. Across the hall are restrooms, phones, and two rooms devoted entirely to merchanting.

If you’ve never relaxed in a bubbling hot jacuzzi and gazed out a soaring glass window at the snow drifting down, come to WinterStar 2005. A sauna, heated pool, game and exercise rooms, and cozy lounge with fireplace make this a favorite spot for our event. The friendly staff, the bar and restaurant (great buffets) and comfortable private rooms complete the scene. Please mention that you are attending WinterStar for your special Symposium discount on lodge rooms!

Even nicer is the shoreline village of heated Cottages, isolated amid natural surroundings. No need to rough it here! Each cabin has 4 bedrooms with double beds, 2 “Daybeds” (not fold-out couches) in the living/dining room area, a large dining room table, one and a half baths (stall shower), a kitchen complete with cookware and service for 12, linens for beds and baths and more!
Anyone attending with accompanying minor(s) cannot reserve cabin space.

Cottages have new furnaces with air conditioning. Television with cable. NO rollaway beds permitted. No more than 10 people per cottage due to fire code. No tents or campers
