PHAT MAN DEE
Some call her the Peggy Lee of punk, some call her an intergalactic juggernaut of love, you may call her Phat Man Dee, cosmic jazz chanteuse. Her original tunes pull from her experience in vaudeville and sideshow to create originally classic jazz with just a twist of comedic burlesque. http://www.phatmandee.com or

ANOMIE has been a nationally certified myofascial trigger point therapist for over 10 years and has been in the health care field for over 25 years. She has an office in Sewickley PA and can often be found at a gathering with her hands or elbows in some ones shoulders. She has also been a member of the Western PA mushroom club for 4 or 5 years now and has a habit of entertaining her friends showing off her mushroom finds, taking folks out into the woods to help people see the huge variety of fruiting bodies that can be found locally at almost any time of the year. She also can be seen cooking up and offering wild mushrooms to friends who are everything from afraid and skeptical to thrilled to be offered a frying pan filled with wild choice delicacies that she just picked an hour ago in the woods.

Mushrooms Yum!

Mushrooms, just because they grow outside doesn't make them "toadstools"

We will look at some pretty common mushrooms that grow in this area. Several are choice edibles if you are VERY VERY sure that you have what you think you have.

I will have pictures and some handouts, since we are very unlikely to find anything at this time of year. I will bring some dried specimens that I collected last summer. I find wild mushrooms fascinating and it gives me a great motivation to go out into the woods more often. It even makes you happy when it rains!

Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy

Myofascial Trigger Point Therapy for neck, shoulder and head pain. Most every one has trigger points in the neck and shoulders  that cause everything from arm aches and pain, "carpal tunnel" and tendonitis to severe debilitating headaches and migraines. Almost every "tension headache" is caused by trigger points in the top of your shoulders. Most of what is diagnosed as carpal tunnel and RSI is also caused by trigger points. By understanding the true CAUSE of the pain, you can usually avoid pain, loss of work and play time, pain meds, injections and unnecessary surgery. Correct the perpetuating factors, stretch, adjust your work area and you can avoid pain, discomfort and huge costs of loss of work days and surgery.
